Another shitty adaptation of a Lovecraft short story. They turn the whole thing into fucking family drama. What a wasted oportuny.

Lovecraft once tried to come up with a truly “alien” life form and the best he could come up with was “what if, a color were evil?” And it turns out adapting that into a movie doesn’t go so well because then the incomprehensible color is just purple. I prefer a sentient jellyfish.
