yes it was stupid and rushed, but if I don't have to hear about Cody's Soul, hear Fein, see Travis Scott or hear more crying promos from Cena about how he think fans are poopy heads for booing him or try to be a heel by counting down the days, I'm all for it.
A brutally blatant salvage job is better than having to endure even one more fucking week of any as the incompetent writers try to twist the thing to fix it.
