I am finding that the people that strongly prefer PoE1 are the same people who really enjoy cookie click style gameplay where they load into a map and everything dies while they move at light speed. Why does that seem to be the demographic of Path 1 now?

What is the draw to blowing up whole screens while moving at mach 10? I just could never get into that playstyle of "I just want to turn my brain off and watch netflix while I blast maps". To me, you are basically playing cookie click or whatever other gacha idle game at that point. Like what are you even doing when you reach that point? I give more credit to the spread sheet warriors who are doing the actual theory crafting that people are bumming off of.
