Hello anon, welcome. ITT, we shall discuss if our waifus would prefer 1 single partner (you) or several in addition to (you) as well as the ethics and problems that come with those types of relationships. I'll go first.
In the show it seems to be implied that relationships are typically monogamous, from the Cakes, to the parents of the Mane 6, Scootaloo's aunts, and maybe others that I can't think of off the top of my head. This also implies that there is a custom to be monogamous in general. For my Waifu, Pinkie, who was raised by rock farmers who probably instilled strong values, including monogamy, I think it makes sense that she would prefer monogamy, but she is open to new experiences and may, under extra ordinary circumstances, may conisder something spicy every once in a while. I would prefer it to be monogamous as well, but this thread isn't about me.
