Nah.
Have you forgotten how it went against the Houthis?
The problem that the US faces is that you guys don't have enough for any sustained campaign that offers resistance.

>Militaryswede, how do you see this conflict going down? A quick bombing campaign followed by zog supporting some random veneco general in an attempt to cause civil war?
Look at their assets.
From previous post
>5 destroyers and <6000 soldiers that can be deployed is enough for maybe grabbing a few islands, support regime chance or implement a half hearted blockade.
The US would need a lot more for an invasion.
Venezuela has 80K soldiers in active service and reserves of some 120K.
This would indicate that the US would probably need to commit an absolute minimum of 300-400K soldiers for an invasion now that Venezuela has mobilized and are prepared).
We also know they can track US fighter jets at least 75km from their coast, so probably in the ballpark of 100km from the radars.
This means the US are limited to standoff weapons and an equally large air campaign as against Serbia in 1999 (which was about 400-600K troops for the air campaign alone!)
Taken together this means that the only realistic play that the mutts have is that there is a civil war where they can support one side and maybe do a decapitation strike on Maduro.
If they just want a media victory they might throw some missiles, sink a few ships and maybe even take a few islands...
But that's essentially it.
