Great example buddy, nice effort, also a deflection from the question and ignoring the outstanding example aluminum. Aluminum was discovered by an English scientist who pronounced it the correct way. Later the British government decided to change the pronunciation and spelling to make it more "English". It makes sense they'd do the same thing with decimals.
