A lot of hate comes from people hating others enjoying the game currently when it's on a slow downward trend. But I would argue all the haters are WoWfugees who came to game in 2021 and are now finally leaving. Or it could the fact that the game is now home to a lot of second life players (due to modding) because the the $15/m. While owning a home in second life can cost $50/m and up to $200/m depending on the size.
