Speaking of that era, thats when tesla began receiving boat loads of carbon credits which became the main source of their revenue for the past 15 years. The big beautiful bill ended carbon credits [as of September 30th 2025] and the EV rebate for 7500 bucks also ends, tesla has barely made any money selling cars, most of their income was from selling those credits to GM or Ford.
