seems nice in that you can engage with masculine things in a healthier way while not having to be disconnected from femininity if you don't wanna be, vs. being more constrained into strictly traditional masculinity

i mean...to be honest i was/have been quite good at living as a male. life has been kind to me in that regard. but the shoe never fit right. it never felt inherent to me.
the first time i was referred to as a "man" when i was 18 it felt...wrong.
