Yeah, Rella and by extension Junah's backstory arc was the one thing I felt was rushed. I'd actually welcome the Persona Royal treatment if it gave the the chance to fill in what was probably supposed to be there in the first place, but I kind of doubt they'll go for it, being the first game of a new IP.
