>we have someone ITT who throws an autism fit if you have a party of summons (...)
That someone doesn't exist. A full summoner party is a viable (albeit very tedious) playstyle. I'm also not here to police how you play the game. My issue has always been with worthless cheaters like the swine that use the Party Limit Begone cheat to stack 10 companions and act like it's the coolest thing ever to cheat in an easy game. It goes without saying that even with the base itemization in BG3, an optimized party member is capable of much more destruction than any summon.

Immersion-wise, does it make sense for your party of 7 to waltz into Moonrise like you own the place when you're supposedly on a recon mission?
Immersion-wise, does it make sense for your party of 9 to crash Gortash's coronation?
Immersion-wise, does it make sense for Orin to kidnap Yenna because your circus troupe of 11 is inseparable and that's the only target she has left?
Immersion-wise, does it make sense for your small army of 14 to say farewells to each other before Lae'zel has had enough and decides to hop on her dragon?

What is this precious "immersion" you speak of, and why are you so intent on shitting on it like the swine?
