Yes, but see my counterpoint: if Leffen can be accused of potentially causing Hax$'s suicide and get hell and high water from the Smash Bros. community (with no lawsuit to be in sight) then why shouldn't Karl be allowed to accuse Billy for potentially causing Apollo's suicide? Karl just had his own over-inflated ego, misuse of AI tools and the Australian courts to contend with and we all know how much that country loves to censor free speech.
Here in the US you can pretty much say a lot of speculation & rumors about celebrities and unless its severely damaging and widespread (like a front page newspaper headline claiming you consume live babies for dinner) they can't and won't do shit about it.
