DoT solves nothing. It's not like Atk scales VS HP scalers dichotomy, DoT has absolutely no mechanic it can exploit except turtling, and the game actively punishes that because it's a gacha. You can beat everything with standard banner characters if you turtle long enough.
This game itself works against DoT, it needs to simply reworked from the ground up.
