It could just be AP3 at all times IMO they could just make it slower but its still way better.
Thats everything wrong with aux in 2.0, a lot of this was auxilia getting their teeth kicked in for being OP in 1.0, IW got all their staples ruined too in 2.0 but IW were marines so there was a limit to how bad they could get when they could build new good stuff to replace old bad stuff. Aux just had its ankles broken and were left to rot for 3 years.
GW has mostly forgiven them tho because they're way better in 3.0, while every other army was getting shit on auxilia could really only go up and they did.
