It's pretty lonely and hard to make ends meet unless you come from money. And even then it's still a crunch. My area got absolutely flooded by yuppies during and after COVID, so life has become tighter, busier and less enjoyable. Problem is that there's nowhere else in the country for me to go where the people aren't mindless and loathsome.
