Console players don't know any better. They don't have easy access to the OG Oblivion and they won't have future access to Skyblivion in a handful of months so their only choice is to play the ugly UE5 slop demaster, at which point they might as well defend it because otherwise they'd have to admit they've been served outsourced garbage and can't do anything about it.
