>Provide SOME proof. (You can't, it doesn't exist)
your verbal diarrhea bot is the proof lol, otherwise u wouldn't bother :D

than what happened here?

he pressed, ya? and it detached from bone cause it didn't like being attached anymore ?
the muscle gets artificially longer as barbell goes up cause it unwraps from rib-cage and that is enough instability to rip it
like if u hold a string that's barely upholding weight and u suddenly drop it some - it will snap
consult the image that i made for you bot from your posting so that u can have EVIDENCE that pec is not straight nor free of obstruction with retracted shoulders
secondly - pec can't properly contract all the way to sternum cause it's cut off by rib-cage* and u wind up with injured and malformed and shortened/stiff pecs ruining entire upper body posture/function and aesthetics
bitch bench tits and squashed milk carton appearance ensues
* and i came up with this idea on these basis:
1) same thing happens in calf raises when bones of knee joint poke gastrocnemius, resulting inability to hold contraction ruin any efforts to grow calf like that, heel-hook is for gastroc https://www.youtube.com/shorts/NfwtDIscQm8 it's better with powerband
2) active myofascial release drills exploit this behavior - poking muscle to get it relaxed
3) i've never had berserk teeth near sternum despite benching twice my body weight and only until i explored other ideas pecs grew in da middle - powerband pulldown towards opposite leg with protracted shoulder
