It's the same thing with the music being the last thing most people go to concerts for. Everybody just wanted in on the next big /v/ thing, and when it got forced off of /v/ the vast majority stopped giving a shit. The Chicken Little storytime from a year ago is the same situation - nobody cared about the topic, they cared about the wild ride of OC and shitposting it enabled.
