>which itself does not warrant getting blown up even if true.
gonna stop you right there bud, as someone who's had to suffer seeing someone die to this shit I'm going to say that everyone involved in the chain of drug smuggling should be flayed alive. I hope they continue doing this until they are all dead.

Because everything is not automated. There aren't enough people to work the jobs that will maintain the infrastructure necessary for those jobs which are automated to function. TFR across the developed world is in absolute freefall. In 2050-2060 Korea is going to collapse due to decades of catastrophic fertility, the rest of the first world will get a good look at what is to come. An inverted pyramid age structure in a nation is something that hits you like a freight train all at once over a few years, even though it takes decades to build.

It obviously sells extremely well. The larger question is
>is it sustainable
I.E. in 2 years will people still be going apeshit for a MTG collab with Peppa Pig and Glup Shittos or will people have worn out by now. Trading cards are back in a bubble with outright nonsensical secondary pricings and it's only a matter of time until it pops, will MTG as a game survive that after pivoting so hard into UB?
and
>is there player retention
Will people who buy into the game with a UB stick around. Will they convert into a full commander player? Maybe. Will they convert into a FNM player? Most likely not.
