Death Wish 1 for comparison's sake is not schlock, its a really good film that explores the concept of vigilantism and society's attitude towards it.

Death Wish 3 has Charles Bronson blowing away street punks with a .475 Widley Magnum, a belt fed machine gun and a rocket launcher. Its most definitely unapologetic schlock and I love it for what it is.
