There are literally no downsides.

You get access to ALL games, you can use ALL controllers ever made, can utilize any and all screen devices of any size/ res/ refresh rate/ et cetera, don't need to pay for online gaming, can host your own servers, mod and tweak your games to your liking, fix and upgrade your hardware and software when and how you please, and effortlessly multitask and create content on the same device. All while you get the best prices on the games.

>b-b-b-butt muh initial costs!
You can build or buy a good entry-level PC for roughly 500-600 bucks.
That's LESS than Piss5 and Shits2 cost in many regions.

>I wasn't going to get a Switch 2 yet but my wife inherited a fuckload and she insisted I treat myself so she bought me one.
You wasted your money.
I grew up with consoles, still got a shitton of older systems, but after ~2010, there's really been zero reason to purchase a livingroom console toybox.

I still regret for falling for PS4 Pro and Switch 1. Yeah, I got 'em used, but they are literally collecting dust. PC gets ALL the games now, in better shape and price.

>ToK
I loved BotW. Easily one of the best video games since OoT and MM.
But TOK I just dropped quite early on. And by "early", I mean 50 hours in, zero story content done, and I even found the final boss arena by accident.
It just does not have the same vibe.

Plus you could've already emulated that shit 3 years ago.

>Lol pc games these days are all console ports
Not by a long shot.

Do you have any idea how many DOZENS of brand new games PC gets every passing DAY?
Yeah, I know (You) underaged Piss5 fags only care about your latest AAA rehash trash, but that's not even a puny fraction of the entire industry's offerings.

Second, every single "console port" is first made on PC,
and ALWAYS runs and looks better on PC to boot.

>inb4 "b-b-but muh BatHam 2014 memes!!"
Literally proving the point.

>you can even play Civ on a Switch now
Okay, cool.
Which one? And how smooth and enjoyable is it in practice?
And finally, how many hundreds of bucks does it cost compared to the PC originals?

>Are there any Zelda style games on PC or Ps5?
Piss5 ? No.

PC has ALL the Zelda games + a ton of knockoffs.
I have no idea why anyone would waste money on a CONSOLE this day and age.
