This is true, but the way gooners flood every discussion about these games with posts about how much they wanna jerk off with each other, I do tend to groan when I see hot women in games now because I know threads about the game will be insufferable.
I never had issues with it in the past because people weren't so brain rotted before, but these days the overwhelming amount of gooners and the shitty way they talk about things does kind of make blatant sex appeal turn me off of a game. Games have always had sexy women, but it wasn't the only thing people would talk about, it was just kinda this nice bonus and people would keep it to themselves most of the time when they jerked off to it, rather than making sure they ritual post about how they goon to these characters every day and spamming their goon folder of the character every time they see a thread about it pop up.
I get that this is an over correction after a decade of feminists and shit trying to tone down on the sex appeal, but I feel like the pendulum has swung too far in the other direction and the focus on porn/jerking off to everything is definitely leaving me with some sorta "gooner fatigue". I'm just so fucking tired of zoomers telling everyone about how and when they're jerking off and trying to get people to join in on their goon sessions. Literally can't have a Street Fighter thread without 80% of the discussion being about gooning shit.
