Zillenial is worthy as a generational descriptor because there's a brief window of time between the 90's and late 2000's that experienced a massive technological jump that created a distinct culture and mindview from the analog millenials and post-Smartphone lobotomized zoomers. No other generation has that sharp of a divide.

You're halfway there, and I'm surprised this comment doesn't have more attention.

You cannot be compelled by a court to give up a passphrase or even an unlock pattern because, being information of the mind, it is protected by the 5th amendment right against self incrimination. Your fingerprints, DNA, iris scans, passwords stored on hardware or written on paper, etc etc are only protected partially by the 4th amendment, given that it's information of the physical nature and a judge can compell you to give those up.

Don't be a retard, memorize your passwords using the memory palace technique.

This post really unintentionally captures the crux of the issue and why DS1 is so polarizing but so iconic even after all these years.
The modern gamer craves convenience, they are okay with challenging games but only in a highly curated disney land ride format. Anything that exists outside of the smooth gradient of player desire is bad game design. DS1's unrelenting apathy is perhaps the strongest thing about it but also the thing that makes it "bad" to play from a pure dopamine perspective.
