For me, RDR1 was the last good thing made by them. GTAV was the start of the dark age for me with both Rockstar and gaming in general.

I just finished the story of Red Dead 1 and I don’t think I’ve ever played something this disappointing or boring. I know Rockstar can’t write a story or characters for shit, but this was especially garbage. Not to mention the controls, shooting, saving, and fast traveling were all terrible too. The open world was empty and bland with nothing to do, and most of the missions were a total chore.

I haven’t played Red Dead 2, but I’ve heard it’s just more of the same.
