Far Cry games deciding to become more rooted was a mistake. Nothing else in the series encapsulates the feeling you get when you're steamroller through the islands until it suddenly becomes a horror game with rockets.

examples are the recent Stalker definitives removing soviet iconography, Dead Space remake having trans shit, or RE4make censoring scenes, dialog and outfits to please a more modern audience or some nonsense, just to name a few
