fuck I thought I was being neat and silly by doing an inversion of a sea mother trope where the god is cool with you killing his kids instead of being pissy about her children being eaten by landlubbers. I'm a little partial to the twin serpent though, as it could be a nod to Hysh and Ulgu's relationship in the mortal realms, and the fire god, yeah I can see how it would only work in certain circumstances. I think I'll do a bit more research and thinking before I pick one of the two or even come up with a third.
