Dems are bad for the economy, right?
A couple of weeks ago I posted this chart that clearly shows that:
1 - There have been 11 US recessions in the past 75 years
2 - 10 of them began while a Republican was president
3 - Every Republican president except for Reagan had higher unemployment when he left office than when he took office
4 - Every Democrat president had lower unemployment when they left office than when they took office except for Carter, who had basically an the same rate at the end as the beginning

Furthermore, since its inception int he mid-1950s, ~85% of the S&Ps growth occured while a Democrat was president (when measured by percentage increase during their term, to negate the compounding factor)
*AND*
AVG real gdp growth was 4.23% while a Democrat was president vs. 2.36% under Republican admnistrations

The top five presidents since WW2 in terms of avg GDP growth are, in order:
Johnson, Kennedy, Truman, Clinton, Reagan

Anyway, when I posted this then, the maga and republitards bent themselves into silly straws (tm) trying to make excuses.

When will people finally realize that republicans are bad for the economy?

Democrats are bad for the economy
Just a reminder that in the past 75 years there have been 11 recessions, 10 of which started while a Republican was president

also

>every republican president except Reagan left office with higher unemployment rates than when they entered the office
>~82% of the S&P 500's gains, when measured as a % increase from beginning of presidential term to end of term occured during Democratic presidencies
>in the past 36 years, Democrats have been president for 55% of the time but 95% of the job growth occurred during Democratic presidential terms
>since 1950, the US has been in recession approximately 130 months. 120 of those months were while a Republican as president
>that means that the US was in a recession an avg of 1 year for every 4 years a Republican was President, but only an average of one month for every 4 year democratic presidential term.

Every Republican president since the 1920s except Reagan has left office with higher unemployment rate than when they started

In the past 75 years, there have been 11 recessions. 10 of them began while a Republican was president

During that timeRepublicans have been presidnet for 40 years and Democrats for 35. The US has been in recession for more than 120 months of the republican presidencies (10 year or 1 out of ever 4 months).

The US has been in recession a total of 8 months under Democratic president, or 1 out of ever 52 months (4.5years)

Since 1990, Democrats have been president for 20 years and republicans for 15. In that time, the US has added around 53 million jobs. 51 million were added while a Democrat was president and around 2 million under republicans.

The avg total GDP growth under a democratic president has been 6.45%.
Under a Republican: 4.9%
