Deviantart definitely feels the most like an actual "art website" w/ galleries to make it easier to pick through and sort your art. I guess I've always been worried about the "prestige" aspect of it all. It doesn't look as good to have a ton of people following you on Deviantart compared to, say, Newgrounds.
That being said, I've only recently began to understand that worrying about prestige and numbers is a crock of shit and has been killing my enjoyment of what is my only real creative hobby these days. It got me through a rough time when Covid hit and I've made plenty of good friends along the way. Stuff like that is much more valuable than worrying about how to get more random strangers to follow me for my goon material.
