Coming from someone who also loves XVI; I thought Jill was a really great heroine. The game is definitely about the brothers but Jill got a ton of screentime and development herself, not to mention a whole arc.
She's beautiful. More depth, better written and acted than any girl in XIII, for example, but that's not really a high bar. I'd honestly put Jill on the same level as Yuna and definitely above Aerith and Tifa.
