Ffxvi is still a graphical tech feat for the ps5 it probably took much of the development time. The issue is gameplay could be more fleshed out, story more fleshed out and narration and quests more fleshed out than most generic mmo shit. Even a lot of the music sound generic. It's a shame because a lot of the game themes are very modern and bold such as right to death.
You could tell not a lot of thinking went into its making and the dev hoped to slap some generic formula that were tested elsewhere and hope it works. But it doesn't, even the game of throne inspiration turned out to be more insulting to the original work more than anything.
Shallow, superficial is how I would describe XVI, and I'm sure not how much is the devs just just being bad or splitting their dev time with xiv. Ending was good though.

We'd play it every few months or maybe once a year or something, but we never made an extended thing out of it, whereas there were other games where we did play them for extended periods of time. I can never imagine myself playing CC solo. I did one time, but I only completed 1 year before I got bored and never played it again.

Final Fantasy XIII: The cool aqua tones and round shape of the logo are reminiscent of the meteor from VII, but the thematic integration with the story is even more incredible and detailed. The payoff of the logo being the ending of the game is a beautiful integration unlike something I've ever seen before. The two guardians of the world (Fang/Vanille) and the steed (Eidolon/power of L'Cie), Cocoon and the column underneath it. When you first see it, you don't see anything. Same with Serah's necklace. But once you've completed the game, you can see everything (kino)
Final Fantasy XV: This logo will always be perhaps my favorite of all time and once again has elements of almost everything I've mentioned before. The way the light of the moon (heroine) lights the darkness of the cloth/fabric of the universe (Chaos). The woman, asleep but waiting, watching, ready to awaken. The dark wing, the cloud over the land. The small dragon representing Astrals. It's all there and is the peak of the series when it comes to logo design that is striking, memorable, iconic, and communicates effortlessly.

A light hearted tone to contrast the often dreadful story events, a good sense of comedy and not taking itself too seriously because it is a fun video game, after all. Science fiction elements that can allow you to go in bold new artistic directions, but keep the many traditional elements of the Command based JRPG front and center. Bold, over the top costumes. Nomura costumes. And hopefully the Amano influenced costumes with lots of beads, flowing patterned cloth, hip sashes, leotards, white hair and weird horned helmets.
