I remember when a guy I barely knew started getting into VNs and one of the first ones he read was Umineko. When he got to the ending he was raving about it and getting emotional and shit and I didn't have the heart to tell him I thought it got pretty bad in the 2nd half or shit on his parade, so I just awkwardly went "yeah that was cool".
