It's NVIDIA driver issues when games can't get the 5080 to draw over 200W of power (over 45% spare power headroom).
But it's NVIDIA sabotaging UE4 RT games. Kys shill.

>9070/XT vs. 5070/Ti
People also have to account for NVIDIA's driver overhead disadvantage if they're planning to pair the video card with more mainstream CPUs like Ryzen 5s or non-X3D 8-core chips.
Steve used the 5080 to give GeForce drivers a hardware advantage in this video content, but its native 1440p ultra performance is nearly the same as 9070 XT with a Ryzen 7600.
The 5080 is running worse at lower graphics settings (more CPU-bound).
It's unrealistic to use a 7600 CPU with a 5080, but I don't think it's too crazy for people to use a 7600/X with a 5070 Ti.
I don't think Steve manually tampered with the GPU boost clocks for this content because the 5080's GPU boost speed is in line with TechPowerUp's average for a stock 5080 FE.

I'd pay the GeForce premium for a 5070 Ti if only I really needed CUDA and if I like to enable RT/DLSS in newer games.
