I think a lot of people can decern two types of support players.

The bad ones are the ones who can barely do anything on the most meta OP healers and try to lock in Ultron, Mantis, Jeff, Adam
The good ones are the ones who can actually flex roles.
I once played with an ultron who typed "sigh" when everyone in the team was asking him to play an actual healer and the dude still got diff'd the next round because he just sucked, plain and simple.
