I always recommend Urban Assault in threads like this.
It's an RTS/shooter hybrid where you can jump into any individual unit at any time, including tanks, helicopters airplanes and defense turrets. Plus you can teleport your main base around as a kind of super unit. The RTS elements are pretty light with energy as the only resource so you'll probably spend most of your time in combat.
