Even if the Watatsuki's are 'nice', Toyohime is directly stated to be the manager of the pyramid's data collection stuff, so either she was directly involved in Yuiman's enslavement, torture, and brainwashing, or she's at least complicit in knowing about it and not setting her free before now. I'm not even certain if setting Yuiman free is part of Toyohime's plan or if it's something Eirin threw into her negotiation with Ariya to sweeten the deal. The latter strikes me as more likely because Eirin finding the special trick to make the immovable Iwanaga's heart shift slightly seems more likely.
