small .357s are for retards or range toys. Hardcast .38spl will completely pen a human torso. That's all you can ask of any handgun round. Less recoil, faster follow up shots and cheaper practice. Also remember small guns are pros guns. Heavy trigger, small grip and short sight radius mean every error in your fundamentals is magnified. Get some snap caps nigger.
