Either the reticle is different scale or they lowered their max zoom settings. This is the 3-24x before the update.
I've had values for mil dot multipliers on the tarkovgunsmith ballistic calculator for a few scopes for long range sniping, now I'll have to fucking test every scope again.

Yes it's pretty terrible, part 2 specifically. Just push the nearest spawns and reset if you don't find anyone.
