Not a native English speaker and haven't written essays on stories or books in ages, but the writing is just good, I like word soup dialogue, I liked the mystery and tension building and "who dunnit?" storyline, liked the internal monologues and differing choices and outcomes, and it was well paced, and I'm not a flaming faggot, but /v/ shat on it constantly on release as sjw right leaning garbage, and I barely noticed.

Also keep in mind the bar for "good writing" in games is really, really low, and gets lower by the year, this is what passes for well written nowadays.

So even though I saw hundreds of comments about how shit this game is and how forced the discourse on it is, I decided to finally try it.

Yea you're all fucking retarded this is a great game.

If you think this game is shit, then post an image of a game you think is better than Clair Obscur.

>subvert the story into a family drama that trivializes the whole universe of the game
wow so ur telling me they probably could have stopped the existential threat earlier but couldnt because of some old guy that magically is alive for some reason
what is wrong with writers when they try to add another dimension to the story. i dont even know if i want to play anymore. teh story is so bad and im already tired of the turn based gameplay
