I feel like this is the boat I'm in. I still happily watch (and complain) about both companies even if they are presented with completely different philosophies.
Edge is a prototypical WWE guy who should have gone out on a high note (even if I have problems with not doing a job on the way out). I had no interest in him having a midlife crisis mercenary run "to show what he could that he never could in WWE" by having bad lucha matches with Penta, boring ass technical matches with Daniel Garcia or getting into sissy slapfights with Minoru Suzuki all while refusing to do jobs to anyone that isn't Christian, Mox, or FTR while a company that desperately needed to elevate its younger talent. And then after a year passes, he's still not putting anyone and now he's doing WWE style shit in AEW, where I don't want to see it and to top it all of he regularly disappears to film outside shit so any momentum to gain from him immediately goes into the shitter. I just don't want to see him anymore.
And I'm almost certain I'm going to feel the exact same way Jericho jumps back to WWE. I don't need to see anymore of it.
