Does this happen late game? Or in the dlc?
Because I reached the point after beating the king of puppets boss and the boss-fights thus far have been trivialised by me simple walking around them, and admittedly I still haven't nailed how to consistently do perfect guards so this might bite me later on. especially since of all enemies the mad clown mini boss gave the most trouble so far.

I was really surprised at how how much of a cakewalk PCR became when I simply started walking to his left instead.

Also, I really liked the medium shields the dlc introduced, though their likeness should've been in the base game in the first place.

It surprisingly doesn't have a lot of that and bosses are more on the experimental side compared to base ER mechanics-wise, I feel. Either that or base ER+DLC has officially rotted my brain.
