Mainly trying to come up with boss designs which I can't show for obvious reasons. I have the basic ideas but the execution is what's tripping me up.
Of 12 bosses, 5 have concept art and 1 of which I'd consider to be good enough to be final. Another is pretty close to what I want but not finished.
I've mainly been struggling to make them look interesting because bosses are a big focus of my game, so there can't really be "weak designs" without the game taking a big hit. I've been tempted to ask friends for help on designs but feel bad because I have no money to compensate them with, so I just don't ask at all.
Otherwise, writing and coding are going well. Making GUIs in GMS2 sucks fucking donkey dick though.
