Undertale's "perfect" ending is so unbelievably forced where despite all the logistical problems of the pacifist ending, everything just works out. A lot of Undertale's framework is pretty poorly written honestly, where the monsters are constantly painted as being super kind and could do no wrong. Deltarune is a lot better in this regard
The other day I thought about how monsters greet each other by firing bullets at each other's souls. Toby said "oh the monsters don't know you're human, this is just how they act" to excuse the fact that if they did know what they were doing, every monster you'd face would be trying to kill a child which would make them look bad but this has its own host of problems.
This cultural difference could be a massive issue where they accidentally kill humans just by trying to say hello. If you aren't expecting it, a few bullets can easily take down a level 1 human (which pretty much every human would be). Suddenly this brand new race is killing people, possibly absorbing their souls which could permanently fuse one of your loved one's to the body of a frog monster, and the "monster ambassador" meant to stop this madness is an 8 year old kid.
