did you just grab the .nif and swapped it for the one from the other mod?
I'm digging through the plugin and it seems to be normal piece of armor assigned to slot 44
armor is invisible if the equipment slot saved in the model doesn't match the one in the plugin, so I would open the pipe you usually use in Outfit Studio and check if it's also 44_SPB_44_DRAGON_BLOOD_OR_MOD_MOUTH
