Lorewise, given that bowguns exist, why the fuck are hunters allowed to fight monsters with a fucking hammer or a bug?
Like, if you were the hunters guild, would you send out four retards with close range weapons against behemoth killing machines that excel in close range combat, or an elite gunner squad that can arrive, trap the monster, pump it full of bullets, statuses and what have you and leave without ever being in harms way?
Except for maybe a few monsters that require specific approaches, which would make sense.
Obviously for gameplay reasons this wouldn't be practical but if monhun were real/realistic, that would be the case right?
