If you want to use logic, all you really need is the graph that shows that a higher body count before marriage leads to a higher divorce rate. And it's literally just common sense, it follows rational thought that that's how it works. But even if that wasn't the case, how exactly is "it's just gross" bad reasoning? You really don't need to justify yourself to anyone.
