No I mean they probably put some sneed oils in those breads from Kaufland or some other shit for preservation. There are other bakeries that make good breads that go stale in 2-3 days like they are supposed to. I just don't trust those supermarkets, btw they are not made in house I think, they come either frozen (which is not necessarily bad) or in coolers in the morning.
In pastries it's the sugars and eggs and fat that keep it shelf stable - also it's usually eaten the same day.
