I want to believe this, too. Say what you want about how they're written in the comic (believe me, I have a manifesto) but what I like to call the Core Four--Tangle, Surge, Kit and Whisper--are very appealing in concept, if not design. Kit in particular getting some form of merch is a good sign.
I just really, REALLY want a writer who knows what the actual fuck they're doing. Someone with an actual plan, someone that makes these characters not awful
