What makes FGO exceptionally unique to me is that TM/Nasu/Takeuchi clearly strongly values artist vision. Interviews from the artists, the end results of the designs, and the fact Arcade even went out of its way to have 3D models that replicate the original artstyles even though that is a painfully awkward direction, it's very clear that TM values the artists getting to do what they want.
Albion/Melusine wouldn't have been a mecha-jet-dragon if Choco hadn't drawn her. Beni-Enma was designed by the foremost expert in cute demon lolis and that is very clear, and this extends to Raitas work as well. Kintoki is an absolute fucking giga buff dude, because fuck yeah he is. Murasaki has sweeping curves to her detailed dress and massive fat tits, and wears an almost-black purple to give the sense of a lonely widow. Raikou has that yamato nadeshiko look but also maintains a degree of fierceness.
I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and assume this is not a shitpost, though you worded it like one, but I can understand if someone doesn't like Raita's exaggeration and body types, but I think it's undeniably that his designs are expressive and sell a strong image of the characters in question. His characters are popular exactly for this reason. You can dislike Raikou, but you absolutely cannot argue with the success of her design.
And that result is exactly what makes FGO special in its genre to me.
