take these tyramites I just did for example, here's my process:
>paint the whole model in flayed one skin
>water down red enough that it pools in the crevices because I didn't have any good blood washes, then cover the whole model in it
>take a drybrush, put flayed one skin on it again, remove paint from the brush until it's just the dry leftovers (hence drybrush) and again pass it over the whole model, this specifically misses all the crevices
