I've seen people complaining about the start button being too hard to hit on the 8bitdo Pro 2 (even though anyone who ever held a SNES or PSX controller is used to it) so maybe that's why they did it

i've been hearing good things about the 8bitdo pro 2, is it worth the price or should i just buy a malaysian dualshock ripoff for 10 bucks?

8bitdo Pro 2 is the best $50 controller you'll ever be graced with. I recently bought another one after I had one that started to drift after 2 full years of heavy use and some occasion drops on the floor but even the drift was tolerable and less horrendous than modern controllers. This shit is practically immortal and 8bitdo recently dropped a firmware update for this and some of the their controllers to be compatible with the Switch 2.
